About Alana.

Even as a child I sought to understand myself and emerge in my authenticity. I, like many others, struggled in doing so and it was through a beautiful therapeutic process that I grew and truly found myself. Now it’s my passion to help others do the same. I want to help you be the best version of yourself. The effects of becoming the real you will radiate into your relationships and all other areas of your life. Through a therapeutic process that includes direct feedback, challenging, and collaborative exploration, we will help you shed your skin so we can uncover the gems within you.

Alana has her master’s degree in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University, and has extensive experience as a therapist, teacher, writer and program director. Additionally, Alana is a mentor and supervisor to counselors in training, and a lecturer at the College of Staten Island. Alana provides training, workshops and lectures on various topics including parenting, leadership, Sandplay therapy and general counseling. Alana passionately assists people working on transforming their relationships and becoming more effective leaders in their business, their social life, and in their home.

Alana is also a writer and speaker as well as the Co-founder of Intuitive Healing Psychotherapy Practice, a wonderful group of therapists focused on providing compassionate and affordable counseling to all people.
